All of our plasma centers are licensed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as well as various European and Asian agencies. Our plasma centers must follow strict guidelines in the donor screening and plasma collection processes.
Our plasma donors help us provide safe, valuable medical products that benefit many others in countless ways. The results are everywhere: doctors' offices, clinics, laboratories, hospitals, neonatal units, burn centers...they all see the difference that plasma protein therapies make in patients' lives.
Plasma donors receive remuneration for their time which can also be donated to their favorite charity. Donors can earn additional bonuses by referring others to donate plasma at one of our plasma centers.
To safeguard the source plasma we collect, all donors receive a medical examination and a confidential medical history interview. In addition, prior to each donation, donors must go through a screening process to make sure they are healthy and meet all of the FDA regulations to be an acceptable plasma donor. Every unit of plasma collected is tested for hepatitis viruses (A, B, and C), HIV and several other disease indicators.
