Biotest Pharmaceuticals Corporation provides donation to the Immune Deficiency Foundation

February 9, 2009 - Earlier this year Biotest provided a significant donation to the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF). Marcia Boyle, President and Founder of IDF, accepted the donation at Biotest Pharmaceuticals Corporation (BPC) Semi-Annual Employee Meeting where she made an informative presentation on Immune Deficiency. BPC’s donation will provide support to the Immune Deficiency Foundation’s (IDF) 2009 National Conference. Specifically, this funding will provide an educational opportunity for immunologists and medical professionals involved in the treatment of primary immunodeficiency disease. Also, additional funding has been provided for scholarships to assist some individuals who wish to attend the conference. BPC continues with its development of an Intravenous Immune Globulin and supports IDF’s long-term dedication to the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of persons with primary immunodeficiency diseases.

In addition, BPC is excited to announce its participation in the IDF Blue Jeans for Healthy Genes program which raises awareness of primary immunodeficiency diseases, while raising funds for further research and patient programs.
